We are very pleased that we will be working with the Brandon Trust for the next two years. We have asked them to work with people from Connections, including Keynsham to help people find out about and get jobs.

This is the first time we have had staff just to work on employment so we are really looking forward to this project.

We are working with Norton Radstock college supporting people to go to college for two days a week, there are six courses for two years, the courses are all about work. You can learn about working in catering, working outside, painting and decorating, performing arts, shops and working with older people.

The idea is that people will have work experience in the kind of work they are learning about at college, so after two years people will have a certificate and experience, this will make it much easier to find a proper job.

Brandon will also be working with Humbug and Tiles Extra to help them plan for the future.
